Flotation Dryers

The flotation dryer, with two-sided air bars, is able to affect a significantly greater heat transfer coefficient than a slots-over-rolls configuration as line speeds begin to approach 600 m/min and more.  Consequently the flotation dryer uses a lower temperature for drying air and consumes less heating energy.

Drying/Curing

Pressure sensitive adhesive line with three separate dryers: Primer and adhesive dryers plus a silicone cure oven.

Air Bars/Air Foils

100’ long dryer for thermal paper. This flotation dryer utilizes opposable air bars in two zones and single-sided air foils in three zones.

Split Hood

A single zone dryer illustrating the split hood configuration, allowing for easy access for threading and cleaning.
